The IT Coalition delivers equipment worth €7.5 million to Ukraine
The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has received another equipment delivery from the IT Coalition, with funding provided by the Netherlands and Luxembourg. The total value of the shipment is approximately €7.5 million.
“I extend my gratitude to the member states of the IT Coalition for bolstering the resilience of our infrastructure. This equipment will enhance the operational capabilities of the Defence Forces and accelerate the implementation of digitalization initiatives within our military,” said Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digital Development.
This time, the partners provided the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine with the following equipment:
- Server and network equipment for data processing centers;
- Charging stations;
- Communication equipment;
- Information display panels.
This marks the second delivery from the IT Coalition in 2025. In January, Estonia, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg provided equipment valued at €3.3 million as part of the same initiative.
To reiterate, the IT Coalition is one of the Capability Coalitions within the framework of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (Ramstein format). The Coalition supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ministry of Defence in the domains of IT, communications, and cybersecurity. Current members of the Coalition include Belgium, Denmark, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, Finland, Sweden, and Japan, with Estonia and Luxembourg serving as lead nations.
