The 28th recruiting center opened in Khmelnytskyi

A new Ukrainian army recruitment center has been established in Khmelnytskyi, making it the twenty-eighth such facility in Ukraine and the first one in Khmelnytskyi. At this location, they will provide information and help potential recruits find a unit and position in the army.

The center is located on Soborna street, 16, in the premises of the local Administrative Service Centre. All the necessary information about vacancies in the defense forces is provided by specially trained civilian recruiters. Additional information can be obtained by phone 0631922697 or by e-mail [email protected].

The Recruiting Center is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

"We've seen how Recruiting Centers operate in other cities. There is a result when explanatory work and proper campaigning are used instead of coercion. A person can get answers to all the questions that concern him here. I am sure that this will have a positive effect, and people who understand what their duty is and what is the need to protect their home and their relatives, will be able to dispel their doubts here and find themselves in the Ukrainian army," said the mayor of Khmelnytskyi Oleksandr Simchyshyn at the opening ceremony.

The Recruiting Center has over 10,000 open positions, including UAV operators, drivers, mechanics, equipment repair specialists, clerks, and many more. Volunteers can join not only Ukrainian Armed Forces units, but also other Defense Force components like the National Guard or the State Border Service.

Serhii Tyurin, head of the Khmelnytskyi regional military administration, said the following: "Volunteers can come here and learn more about the branches of the military and, taking into account their skills, education and experience, choose the direction and the unit they want to join."

The Center's specially qualified professionals will assist a possible recruit throughout the process, from contract signing to the training site and unit of his choice. Oleksiy Bezhevets, the representative of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on recruiting issues, added: "Many have questions about whether it really works and how it works, whether I will get where I want to go. The answer is yes, you will get there. Today, less than 1% of recruits encounter misunderstandings during the recruitment process at our centers. We address these misunderstandings, and people join the units they wish to join."

Oleksiy Bezhevets also reminded that Recruiting Centers do not hand out summonses, but only help those who have decided to choose their own path in the army.
