Synchronization of quality assurance systems for defense-related goods between Ukraine and NATO: The Government has adopted a decision
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the Procedure for Conducting State Quality Assurance of Defense-Related Goods, Works, and Services, aligning Ukraine’s system with those of NATO member states.
The new procedure regulates the quality assurance mechanism for products from domestic manufacturers in foreign trade contracts, enhancing the overall efficiency of quality assurance efforts.
The corresponding draft resolution, prepared by the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, was adopted during today's government meeting.
The procedure establishes mutual quality assurance for executing foreign economic contracts concerning the export and import of defense-related products, in line with NATO standards.
It outlines the key components of the preparatory and operational processes for state quality assurance, including procedures for risk identification, analysis, and assessment during the execution of state contracts.
The document has been drafted in accordance with the Prime Minister’s directive to create a legal framework that ensures transparency in defense procurement, while simultaneously safeguarding these procedures under martial law.
