South Korea has expressed interest in the Armed Forces of Ukraine's experience with drone deployment: Sergiy Boyev meets with the South Korean delegation

The Republic of Korea is closely monitoring the participation of North Korean forces in russia’s war against Ukraine and is keen to explore Ukraine’s expertise in drone usage.

This was discussed at a meeting between Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Sergiy Boyev and the South Korean delegation headed by Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Yoo Yong-won. The parties discussed cooperation between the countries and the exchange of experiences.

“Your visit is crucial for enhancing the cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Korea. The Ukrainian defense industry is eager to partner with the Korean defense sector. Together, we have the potential to improve our technologies and expedite the production of required equipment,” highlighted Sergiy Boyev.

Mr. Yoo Yong-won pointed out the legislative restrictions on arms export in the Republic of Korea. He proposed possibly holding a joint seminar for Ukrainian and Korean defense manufacturers.
