Service members have submitted 500,000 electronic reports through the Army+ app

Over ten months of Army+ app usage, service members submitted 500,000 electronic reports, averaging approximately 1,800 per day. During this period, more than 1,500 military units have adopted the app.

This was announced by Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digital Development.

“Electronic reports were among the first features launched in Army+. It was this feature that began the fight against bureaucracy, made life easier for service members, and freed up their time for what truly matters,” the Deputy Minister said.

“The journey to this milestone was challenging but necessary. We have succeeded in earning the trust of our defenders as well as their commanders, who showed leadership and determination in implementing electronic reports at the unit level,” she added.

Kateryna Chernohorenko noted that one-third of all reports—covering key service-related matters—have been digitized to date. The next focus will be on reports related to obtaining certificates and financial matters.

Reports can be submitted in just a few minutes. They include comprehensive info guides offering concise and straightforward advice and explanations about which documents may be needed when submitting a report. The reports are structured with a straightforward submission procedure, and each step provides helpful tips to ensure accurate submission to the commander. Currently, the most popular of these are for health recovery (30%), for annual leave (23%), and for change of duty station (21%).
