Planning operations behind enemy lines and on the front lines – enrollment is now open at the Military Academy (Odesa)

The admission campaign to higher military educational institutions is currently underway. The Military Academy (Odesa) invites motivated men and women who are ready to take on the challenge and contribute to Ukraine’s victory to apply.
The Military Academy trains future officers capable of leading some of the most effective combat units within the Defense Forces. Graduates will serve in the Marine Corps, Air Assault Forces, Military Intelligence, and Special Operations Forces; they will control fire support assets and oversee logistics and sustainment.
“We train officers capable of acting decisively, leading troops, and planning and conducting highly complex operations—including those behind enemy lines,” emphasized Major General Andrii Kovalchuk, Hero of Ukraine and head of the Military Academy (Odesa).
The Academy offers study programs at five faculties:
- Faculty of Training Specialists for Airborne Assault Troops and Marines: Trains combat units to conduct complex operations on land, at sea, and in the air.
- Faculty of Military Intelligence and Special Operations Forces Training: Provides training in intelligence planning, special operations, and information analysis.
- Faculty of Training of Logistics Specialists: Trains specialists in logistics, technical support, and materiel sustainment for the Armed Forces.
- Faculty of Military Equipment Maintenance and Operation: Focuses on the operation, maintenance, and repair of modern military equipment.
- Faculty of Training of Missiles and Artillery Weapons Specialists: Trains officers to command artillery systems and crews, and to employ firepower strategically.

Requirements for admission: Citizens of Ukraine aged 17 to 30 (in the year of enrollment);
Active service members aged 18 to 30 (in the year of enrollment);
Completion of full general secondary education;
Physical fitness;
Admission to the Academy is based on the results of the National Multi-Subject Test (NMST), entrance exams, medical examination, and psychological evaluation.
Applications are accepted until July 1, 2025.
