Over 7,000 missions in January: Ukraine expands deployment of ground robotic systems

In January, ground robotic systems completed over 7,000 combat and logistics missions on the front line. Their routine integration into military unit operations is reducing risks to service members and increasing mission effectiveness.
“As recently as six months ago, casualty evacuation using ground robotic systems was sporadic. Today, robots routinely enter high-risk areas — delivering ammunition, sustaining logistics, and evacuating the wounded where deploying personnel would create additional risk,” said Minister of Defence Mykhailo Fedorov.
The majority of ground robotic system missions in January were logistics operations on the front line — thousands of tasks that service members previously performed under enemy fire.
The key objective is to transition front-line logistics to ground robotic systems to the greatest extent possible, reducing risks to service members and enhancing unit effectiveness.
In 2026, plans call for increased production and procurement of ground robotic systems, along with improvements to communications and command-and-control systems. Military units will be able to further configure these systems by procuring the necessary modules and components to meet specific mission requirements.
Through the “Army of Drones Bonus” program, the most effective combat experience is being scaled. The Brave1 Market platform already offers 13 models of ground robotic systems that military units can obtain using combat points — quickly, transparently, and aligned with real front-line needs.
