Nearly twice as many individuals reached out to the Ukrainian Army's recruitment centers this week compared to the previous week

Last week, 1,319 persons contacted the Recruitment Centers of the Ukrainian Army with inquiries about enlisting in military service. This figure is nearly twice as high as that of the previous week. To recap, 717 Ukrainians reached out to Recruitment Centers in the first week of the year.

In total, 34,055 Ukrainians have received consultations on enlisting in military service since the centers began operating. Among all those who got in touch, 7,550 have now stepped forward as candidates for the Defence Forces.

“Such an increase in interest in recruitment reflects our citizens' strong awareness and readiness to defend our country. Each inquiry is not just a statistic, but represents a real person expressing genuine interest in serving in the Armed Forces,” said Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine, Brigadier General of Justice Serhii Melnyk.

Currently, 47 Recruitment Centers of the Ukrainian Army are operating in Ukraine. Residents of Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Lviv, and Zaporizhzhia oblasts (regions), as well as the city of Kyiv, demonstrate the highest level of activity in terms of the number of inquiries.

Recruitment Centers offer more than 10,000 vacancies in various military formations, including the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, and the Security Service of Ukraine.

Please note that Recruitment Centers do not issue call-up papers, and all consultations are conducted with strict adherence to confidentiality.
