Mykhailo Fedorov signs order to launch Mission Control drone command and control system in DELTA
Minister of Defence of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov signed an order on the launch of Mission Control, a drone command and control system within the DELTA combat digital ecosystem.
“We are consolidating all drone operations into a unified digital system by launching the revolutionary Mission Control project. Modern warfare is technological. Through e-points, we fully understand what is happening with drones on the battlefield—we see completed missions, their intensity, and the contribution of each crew. However, to strike the enemy even more effectively, this is not enough,” Mykhailo Fedorov said.
He explained that, from now on, each crew will enter operational data into the system, including the UAV type, launch point, route, and mission.
“We are moving away from paper-based processes in the military that drain service members’ time and attention. All data is generated automatically based on the crews’ actual activity. For the first time, commanders have a full real-time picture of mission execution—without manual summaries or bureaucratic burden,” Mykhailo Fedorov emphasized.
The Minister of Defence of Ukraine added that the next step will be the launch of a similar command and control system for artillery.
“Soon, we will have comprehensive information on drone crews, commanders, monthly rankings, and statistics for the entire corps. This will accelerate command decision-making—without manual processes or reliance on intuition,” Mykhailo Fedorov stressed.
The Minister of Defence noted that the Department of War Mathematics operates within Brave1 and that this experience is already being scaled across the defense system.
“We are transitioning from chaos and fragmented data to a controlled, technology-driven form of warfare in which decisions are based on accurate data rather than assumptions. This is the new logic of war—fighting in a systematic, technological, and effective manner while preserving the lives of our service members,” Mykhailo Fedorov said.
