More than 2,000 russian artillery systems destroyed or disabled in June

In June 2026, russia suffered its highest artillery losses since the start of the full-scale invasion. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 2,074 artillery systems were struck during the month.
For comparison, enemy artillery losses in May totaled 1,993 systems destroyed or disabled. This is equivalent to more than 110 standard artillery battalions.
“Logistic Lockdown” results: the russian army's highest vehicle losses
A record 12,878 russian military vehicles were destroyed or damaged in June.
For comparison, 8,612 russian military vehicles and fuel tankers were destroyed or damaged in May.
As previously reported, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has launched a dedicated “Logistic Lockdown” program.
Its goal is to expand middle-strike capabilities and systematically destroy russian logistics, depots, military equipment, command posts, and supply routes throughout the enemy's operational depth.
Statistics on russian military vehicles, equipment, and air defense losses
In addition, in June, the Defence Forces of Ukraine struck:
- 103 russian tanks;
- 197 armored fighting vehicles;
- 60 air defense systems.
For air defense systems, this is the highest monthly total in the past two years and the second highest since the start of the war.
