MoD’s DOT announces the procurement of food supplies for the Armed Forces of Ukraine for 2026

The State Operator for Non-Lethal Acquisition (DOT) has announced the procurement of food supplies for the Armed Forces of Ukraine for 2026.

This is the first time that DOT is conducting food procurement for the entire year in a single cycle. The total expected value of the procurement is approximately UAH 37 billion.

Such an approach will guarantee continuous food provision for military units, stable operating conditions for suppliers, and opportunities for advance production planning. Previously, procurements were conducted separately for each six-month period.

For the second consecutive year, DOT has launched the procurement cycle for the upcoming year in advance — and this time, even earlier than the previous one.

The new contracts will maintain strengthened quality control requirements, particularly regarding the supply of dairy products, to prevent cases of falsification.

The regional supply strategy, which has already proven its effectiveness in the previous period, will also remain in force. According to this model, a supplier is designated for a particular region (oblast). This ensures effective logistics coordination, delivery timeliness, and the ability to respond promptly to any changes.

As of the end of October 2025:

  • over 599 million kilograms of products have been shipped;
  • over 249 million liters of drinking water have been delivered;
  • over 85,000 requests from military units have been processed.
