Military will be able to safely destroy enemy armored vehicles with the new Tanchik Droid 12.7 UGV

Featuring long endurance, exceptional off-road mobility, substantial firepower, and minimal risk to the operator, the Tanchik Droid 12.7 reconnaissance-strike UGV has been codified and authorized by the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine for operational use by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The system was developed by a Ukrainian company specifically to meet the demands of modern high-intensity warfare. In developing it, the designers drew on real-world combat experience with Ukrainian and foreign robotic systems, implementing several innovative solutions that significantly enhance the platform's effectiveness and survivability.
Technology instead of risk: the capabilities of the new Tanchik Droid 12.7 UGV
The primary mission of this unmanned ground vehicle is to save the lives of military personnel on the front line and carry out the most dangerous missions in areas exposed to the highest levels of enemy fire.

The Tanchik Droid 12.7 UGV is designed for:
- remote battlefield surveillance;
- reconnaissance;
- destroying enemy personnel and unarmored and lightly armored vehicles.
The operator controls the system entirely from a secure shelter using a reliable control link.
More than 1,000 UGVs delivered to the front through the DOT-Chain Defence
Ukraine's military is rapidly adopting robotic systems as part of implementing Ukraine's defense strategy and efforts to secure a technological advantage over the enemy.
Units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine have already received 1,028 unmanned ground vehicles of various configurations worth a total of UAH 487,203,212. All procurements were carried out through the specialized DOT-Chain Defence weapons marketplace.
These technological platforms are increasingly reducing risks to our service members by taking on critical missions on the front line.
As previously reported, in the first half of 2026, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine codified and authorized 67 new UGV models for operational use by the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
