Military units can now use the DOT-Chain IT system to report the delivery of substandard products

The State Operator For Non-Lethal Acquisition (DOT), the acquisition agency of the Ministry of Defence, streamlines the process of handling claims for military units. From now on, the DOT Chain IT system allows for the submission of product quality claims.

This will substantially reduce the time required for the creation and processing of such claims and, most importantly, further elevate the standard of food supply to our Armed Forces.

“Previously, the process was carried out exclusively in paper form, which demanded significant time and effort from both military units and the DOT. Now, DOT-Chain automatically retrieves information from the order, so the military unit only needs to add details about the low-quality products. The system generates an electronic document, reducing the time required to process claims by two to threefold,” emphasized Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Dmytro Klimenkov.

Currently, in addition to offering convenience, the new functionality significantly enhances transparency in the process. By organizing information and enabling rapid analysis, the system aids in identifying abuses by unscrupulous suppliers, thereby significantly enhancing overall operational efficiency.

The DOT remains persistently focused on further expanding its functionality. Starting next year, the system will offer the functionality to submit electronic complaints about the completeness and timing of deliveries.
