Military personnel regain access to Ukrzaliznytsia special reserve train tickets via Army+

Service members can now once again buy tickets from the special reserve of Ukrzaliznytsia via the ‘Pluses’ National Support Program in the Army+ app. Last week, this functionality was temporarily unavailable due to a large-scale cyberattack on the company, which lasted several days.

“We are pleased that Ukrzaliznytsia—our partner since the inception of the ‘Pluses’ Program—has successfully overcome the technical challenges posed by the enemy cyberattack. This means that train tickets for military personnel are once again available through Army+,” said Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digital Development.

As a reminder, Ukrzaliznytsia was the first to join the ‘Pluses’ Program in December. Since then, military personnel have purchased 15,600 tickets from the special reserve.

The ‘Pluses’ National Support Program for Service Members aims to unite large businesses and offer defenders special deals on goods and services. Within three months, the Army+ app’s offers have been used 620,000 times, resulting in savings of over UAH 49 million. In addition to Ukrzaliznytsia, the Program was joined by the logistics company Nova Poshta, providing delivery to frontline branches just for 1 UAH; Urknafta, WOG, and OKKO fuel station networks, offering discounts on fuel, café menu, and market items; and the ROZETKA online store, offering discounts of up to 30%.
