Kateryna Chernohorenko: We kick off a survey in the Army+ app to scale up the use of digital combat systems in the Armed Forces

On September 5, the Ministry of Defence commences the second survey within the Army+ app. The subject matter pertains to digital combat systems and the experience of using them during service.

“Combat systems are the digital weapons of our defenders. They help our warriors to do target acquisition, plan operations, and destroy the enemy. This is our technological advantage over the enemy, so we have to scale up the use of such systems in the Armed Forces. In this survey, we seek input from the military regarding their experiences on the usage frequency of digital combat systems, preferred systems, and suggested improvements,” said Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digital Development.

The survey is open until September 20 and consists of seven questions:

  • How frequently do you operate combat IT systems?
  • For what purpose do you employ combat systems?
  • What combat systems do you use regularly?
  • What is lacking in utilizing combat systems fully in your job?
  • What features are lacking in combat systems?
  • Where do you monitor updates and upgrades to combat system?
  • Respondents have the option to provide their ideas or suggestions for enhancing digital combat systems.

To reiterate, the Survey was one of the initial features of the Army+ app for the military. The initial survey conducted in Army+ focused on online training. The participation exceeded 17 thousand users. Detailed results are available at this link.
