Kateryna Chernohorenko on Army+ app coverage: 200 thousand service members and 4000 reports

Two hundred thousand service members have been successfully authorized in the Army+ app. Over a month, users submitted 4000 reports through the Army+ app.

On average, up to 10 thousand defenders sign up for Army+ daily. Besides that, there are two thousand requests for data updates being addressed from service members encountering authorization problems. The Army+ app’s features are currently accessible to service members from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Special Transport Service of Ukraine. At a later stage, the application will be extended to cover the entire Defence Forces.

A month ago, in the company of numerous local and international guests, we had the opportunity to witness the remarkable event where two service members efficiently created and authorized Ukraine's first-ever electronic report within a two-minute timeframe. The current number of military personnel with access to Army+ capabilities is 200,000. More is on the horizon. There will be updates and new functionality based on feedback and comments from the military. Army+ is becoming a tool for changes in the Armed Forces so that the enemy feels the impact of these specific changes acutely,” said Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digital Development.

Currently, Army+ permits military personnel to generate a unique service member's distinctive number called Army ID, create, submit and approve electronic reports, and participate in surveys. The second survey is currently underway and relates to using combat systems in the Armed Forces. Service members can participate in it until September 20.

“Army+ has been operational in the Armed Forces for a month now. Its capabilities have already been used by two hundred thousand service members. More than 600 units of the Armed Forces are implementing the application. I appreciate the efforts of all military personnel, including soldiers and commanders at the front lines, as well as clerks serving in unit staffs, for their efforts in coordinating electronic reports workflow and employing modern tools that increase our strength and efficiency compared to our the enemy,” emphasized Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Colonel Andrii Lebedenko.
