Kateryna Chernohorenko: DELTA has introduced a module that facilitates the coordination of fire missions for military units
The DELTA combat system has introduced a new Target Hub module for planning and directing the fire operations of military units. The solution enables the easy and convenient creation and assignment of targets, sharing them, adding them from a digital map, and more.
The interface and functionality of the Target Hub are designed to simplify fire coordination within a unit, ensure effective interaction between intelligence/reconnaissance, command and control, and other aspects, reduce the risk of errors, and improve decision-making speed.
“The Target Hub is designed to improve interaction between neighboring military units. The module displays which targets are already being processed, helping to avoid duplication of efforts and enhancing the effectiveness of strikes against the enemy. It allows for the prioritization of targets, significantly improves command and control, and enables prompt and informed decision-making on the battlefield,” said Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digital Development.
The module results from the collaboration between the MoD’s Center for Innovation and Development of Defense Technologies, the Center for Scaling Technological Solutions (CSTR), and the 69th Separate Special Electronic Support Center, which addressed the users' needs. Combat units, including the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, the 45th Separate Artillery Brigade, and the Avdiivka Tactical Group, served as experts and consultants in developing the Target Hub.
The Target Hub and the Monitor digital map have already been integrated into the DELTA combat system. Subsequently, the module will be integrated with other ecosystem components, including Mission Control, Vezha, and Element. This combination of tools ensures complete data synchronization and enhances task efficiency at all levels.
