Контракти з промисловістю та швидкі поставки

Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine for European Integration Sergiy Boyev took part in a meeting of National Armaments Directors.

The event was held at NATO Headquarters in Brussels, bringing together representatives from more than 40 countries participating in the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meetings (Ramstein format).

Sergiy Boyev briefed partners on the production capacities of Ukrainian companies and the need for their financing. He further emphasized that air defense systems, munitions, and drones remain key priorities for ramping up mass production.

The Deputy Minister highlighted that advancing defense production has become one of Ukraine's key priorities in the war. He reminded that, since the full-scale invasion, the capabilities of Ukraine's defense industry have grown more than 35 times and continue to expand. According to him, Ukraine requires investments from its partners to fully leverage these capabilities.

“The enemy continues to terrorize peaceful cities, so the need for air and missile defense remains extremely high. We are ready to co-produce systems that have proven effective in defending our country,” said Sergiy Boyev.

He outlined proposals for joint ventures to produce critical components such as rocket engines, UAV components, and more. Sergiy Boyev also expressed gratitude for the recently announced aid packages totaling USD 21 billion.

Following the meeting, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and Germany, as the Ukraine Defense Contact Group leaders, issued a joint statement. In particular, the statement confirmed the swift fulfillment of commitments to Ukraine, focusing on industrial contracts and fast-tracked aid deliveries to safeguard sovereignty and protect civilians.
