In July, the Defence Forces of Ukraine inflicted the highest losses on the enemy in personnel and military vehicles
In July, russian personnel losses reached 42,860. The number of russian service members killed or seriously wounded last month was the highest since January 2025.
This is according to data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
July thus ranked as the fourth most effective month for the Defence Forces of Ukraine in terms of eliminating enemy personnel since the start of the full-scale invasion.
Overall, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, losses of the russian army in personnel have reached 1,461,660 since the start of the full-scale invasion.
russia’s highest military vehicle losses
In July, the Defence Forces of Ukraine continued their systematic efforts to degrade russia’s air defense and logistics capabilities.
Ukrainian forces struck 68 russian air defense systems. In addition, they destroyed or damaged 13,998 military vehicles — the highest monthly total on record.
As previously reported, June saw the highest number of russian artillery systems destroyed or disabled — more than 2,000.
More than 160 russian tanks struck
Last month, the Defence Forces of Ukraine also struck 162 tanks, including 28 on July 22.
In addition, Ukrainian defenders destroyed or damaged 204 russian armored fighting vehicles and 2,016 russian artillery systems.
