Ground robotic systems now available for ordering via DOT‑Chain Defence

The Defence Procurement Agency DOT of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has enabled the military to order ground robotic systems through DOT-Chain Defence. Units can now independently select and order ground robotic systems, enabling combat and logistics tasks without placing personnel in the strike zone.

Currently, the platform offers seven ground robotic system models from six Ukrainian manufacturers. Overall, the DOT-Chain Defence marketplace offers over 470 items of equipment and strike assets from 135 manufacturers, including FPV drones, fiber-optic-controlled drones, strike and fixed-wing UAVs, interceptor drones, and electronic warfare (EW) assets.

Since the start of 2026, nearly UAH 9 billion has been allocated to the military for orders placed through the DOT-Chain Defence. This approach enables better planning of combat missions, clearer visibility of available resources, and rapid access to required capabilities.

“The nature of warfare is evolving. There is increasing demand for capabilities that enable missions without exposing personnel to the strike zone. Ground robotic systems are used for evacuation, logistics, ammunition delivery, and mission execution. Ground robotic systems are now available for ordering via the DOT-Chain Defence weapons marketplace. Through the system, the military can independently order the required assets within their allocated budgets. At the same time, the Agency handles contract processing, payment, and contract performance oversight,” said Arsen Zhumadilov, Director of the Defence Procurement Agency DOT.

Previously, ground robotic systems were delivered via DOT-Chain Defence only under the “Army of Drones Bonus” program. They have now become a full component of the marketplace and are available for ordering by all military units through standard procedures.
