Grenade launcher operators will be trained using a cutting-edge training system

Гранатометників навчатимуть за допомогою новітньої тренувальної системи

The Ministry of Defense has authorized the domestic laser training system for operational use to train grenade launcher operators. This was reported by the MoD’s Main Directorate for Support of the Life Cycle of Weapons and Military Equipment.

This laser training system is a state-of-the-art tool for training RPG-7 grenade launcher crews.

The device is designed as a simulated munition that mounts onto the grenade launcher. The simulator replicates target engagement distances matching the RPG-7’s effective firing range. It facilitates drills for fire discipline, aiming accuracy, shot execution, and safety measures during firing exercises. The simulator includes a reactive jet effect to replicate target impact.

It also supports interoperability with other simulator types, enabling its integration into comprehensive training systems.

A reminder to defense equipment manufacturers: helpful information on the procedure for codifying new models of weapons and military equipment is available here.
