Government approves dismissal of five Deputy Ministers of Defence
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a decision to dismiss five Deputy Ministers of Defence: Anatolii Klochko, Oleksandr Kozenko, Mykola Shevtsov, Volodymyr Zaverukha, and Anna Gvozdiar.
“We are restructuring the Ministry of Defence’s management system to meet the objectives of the war. The Government has adopted a decision to dismiss five Deputy Ministers of Defence. I am grateful to each of them for their contribution to the development of the Ministry of Defence, the projects delivered, and the tasks carried out,” Minister of Defence Mykhailo Fedorov stated.
According to him, some of them will continue working within the Ministry of Defence team in other roles, including as advisers or heads of project offices.
In the coming weeks, new team members will be appointed to oversee key areas of activity.
As the Minister of Defence of Ukraine emphasized, this is a step toward renewing the Ministry to carry out the President’s task: building a system capable of stopping the enemy in the air, halting enemy advances on the ground, and strengthening asymmetric and cyber strikes against the enemy and its economy.
“We have already outlined the key stages to achieve our objectives. The first involves restructuring management, a crucial step toward systemic change. Human capital and technology must work as efficiently as possible—only then can we stop russia,” Mykhailo Fedorov said.
He added that the Ministry of Defence remains open to professionals with a clear vision and proven project experience who can effectively deliver asymmetric and innovative technological solutions.
“We will continue to transform the Ministry of Defence into a modern institution capable of defeating the enemy,” the Minister of Defence concluded.
