Glib Kanievskyi: Ukrainian manufacturers of non-lethal assets have an opportunity to integrate into NATO's supplier system

Ukraine's manufacturing sector has evolved to sustain the non-lethal needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 2025, the Defence Ministry's acquisition agency, DOT, is collaborating with nearly a hundred Ukrainian suppliers, including those providing clothing, personal protective equipment, and other essential items.
Glib Kanievskyi, Director of the Procurement Policy Department at the Ministry of Defence, made this statement during the NSPA Industry Days webinar organized on the platform of the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA).
The event brought together representatives of Ukrainian manufacturers of non-lethal assets and NATO experts to discuss opportunities for domestic companies to register in the Alliance's supplier system.
“Ukrainian companies that already supply non-lethal assets to the Armed Forces of Ukraine now have an opportunity to expand their markets. This will not only drive the growth of our industry but also enhance economic cooperation with NATO member states. Registration in the NSPA system will enable domestic enterprises to integrate into the global supply chain for non-lethal support to the armies of NATO member states,” emphasized Glib Kanievskyi.
During the webinar, NSPA experts provided a detailed explanation of the procedure and requirements for Ukrainian companies to be included in the NATO Supplier Database. They also offered practical guidance on completing the registration form on the NSPA website.
The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine extends its gratitude to all event participants and looks forward to active collaboration between Ukrainian companies and NATO. Registration in the NSPA system is a crucial step in integrating Ukraine's defense sector into the global market.
