Sergiy Boyev, Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine for European Integration, emphasized the urgent need to increase and expedite military assistance to Ukraine from its partners, including Canada.

He made this statement during a meeting with Rebecca Patterson, Gwen Boniface, Peter Boehm, Stanley Kutcher, and David Wells, who are members of the Senate of Canada, on the sidelines of the International Security Forum in Halifax, Canada.

“It is extremely important for us that the solutions address our needs as fully as possible and that the assistance provided reaches Ukraine promptly, making an immediate impact on the battlefield,” said Sergiy Boyev.

The Deputy Minister also engaged in discussions with Canadian parliamentarians regarding the potential for the Canadian Government to finance Ukraine's defense industry.
