Equipment worth UAH 266 million was delivered via the marketplace under the ‘Army of Drones Bonus’ program
DOT-Chain Defence, a system from the State Operator for Non-Lethal Acquisition (DOT), has reduced delivery times to the front line to 10 days under the ‘Army of Drones Bonus’ program. Since the first order on August 4, the military has received equipment valued at UAH 266 million.
The military recently took delivery of a batch of FPV drones only five days after the order was placed. This record achievement demonstrates the efficiency of the new supply system.
The new model of the ‘Army of Drones Bonus’ program began operating in August through the integration of the DELTA IT system, DOT-Chain Defence, and Brave1 Market. During this time, it has already proven effective: overall, military units have ordered 22,000 FPV drones, bomber drones, reconnaissance UAVs, and electronic warfare (EW) systems worth UAH 1 billion, using points earned for destroying enemy targets. The first batches have already been delivered to the troops.
How the program works:
- Service members earn points for destroying and damaging enemy targets, and exchange them for the drones and equipment they need to accomplish combat missions — through Brave1 Market, following authorization in DELTA.
- The Defence Procurement Agency (DPA) carries out the supply process via the DOT-Chain Defence digital system, generating contracts with manufacturers and coordinating the direct delivery of drones and other equipment to military units.
This initiative enables military units that demonstrate high combat effectiveness to receive additional drones and other equipment, in addition to centralized supply.
