DOT, the acquisition agency of the Ministry of Defence, outlines an acquisition plan through 2024

The State Operator For Non-Lethal Acquisition (DOT), the acquisition agency of the Ministry of Defence, has published an acquisition strategy that outlines plans until the conclusion of 2024.

The plan encompasses every form of support that the DOT is accountable for providing to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including provisions, equipment, attire, fuel, and lubricants.

The initiative's primary objective is to give potential suppliers sufficient time to prepare for the acquisition process. Access to information on the time frames of all item deliveries allows contractors to improve their production processes and operations. This will contribute to the continuity of supplying the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“By planning acquisitions in advance, we are taking another step towards strengthening the country's defense capabilities and ensuring the proper level of support for the military. Transparency in our acquisition process fosters strong partnerships with suppliers, ensuring a consistent provision of necessary resources for our defenders. We believe that these initiatives will enhance our capability to quickly address challenges and uphold a high level of combat readiness of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” said Dmytro Klimenkov, Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine.

Transparency in DOT’s operation enhances military supply and increases the overall efficiency of budgetary funds.
