The Ministry of Defence plans to expand the range of gear and clothing property for the military. MoD formulates technical specifications for baseball cap, trousers equipped with kneepads, and pouches for tourniquets pouches and tablets. According to a survey conducted by the Procurement Policy Department of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, in cooperation with the Logistics Forces Command, these items are in highest demand by the military.

According to Deputy Defence Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Klimenkov, the survey aimed to discover the actual status of supplying uniforms, body armor, and helmets to the Armed Forces. The demand for these property items has been almost entirely met, and the supply is carried out in full with the accumulated warehouse stocks. Service members were given the opportunity to specify the gear and clothing items they were lacking. For example, in their opinion, demi-season jackets (windbreakers), one-person tents, pouches for tablets and tourniquets, military baseball caps, tactical shoes, etc. should also be issued.

“We are committed to providing our service members with everything they need to do their jobs effectively. The war is changing, the needs are changing, and we are responsive to the military. In the survey, service members requested specific gear and clothing items they lacked. We will take this into consideration,” said Dmytro Klimenkov.
