Army+ introduces five new reports, including requests for a certificate of participation in combat operations, extracts from the order and service record, and a report on return from leave
The Army+ application has introduced five new report types covering certificates, extracts, leave requests, and reports on return to duty from leave, temporary duty assignment, or medical treatment. All report submissions for obtaining various documents are now consolidated in a single section for user convenience. They are available in the latest version, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Play Market.
Newly added reports cover:
- Request for a certificate confirming participation in combat operations;
- Request for an extract from an order;
- Request for an extract from a service record;
- Childcare leave (up to 3 years);
- Return from leave, temporary duty assignment, or medical treatment.
Reports can be submitted in just a few minutes. They include comprehensive info guides offering concise and straightforward advice and explanations about which documents may be needed when submitting a report. The reports are structured with a straightforward submission procedure, and each step provides helpful tips to ensure accurate submission to the commander.
“We continue to address service members’ needs through streamlined report submissions. One example is the return-to-unit report after leave, temporary duty assignment, or medical treatment—something service members asked for many times so they could file it in just a few minutes. We have responded to that need. We have also introduced reports for requesting certificates and extracts, which are essential for obtaining social benefits such as free public transportation or utility discounts,” said Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digital Development.
To recap, the report functionality in the Army+ app was launched in August 2024. With the addition of the new reports, the total number of report types has increased to 31. During this period, a total of 430,000 reports were fully processed. The most popular of these are for health recovery (31%), for annual leave (22%), and for change of duty station (21.5%).
