Модернізація військової авіації потребує масштабування – Анатолій Клочко зустрівся з авіаторами

During discussions on the modernization of Ukrainian military aircraft, Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine, Brigadier General Anatolii Klochko, urged the acceleration of efforts to modernize aircraft components.

The offsite meeting was also attended by Brigadier General Oleh Zakharchuk, Commander of the Air Force Aviation Command, along with representatives from the specialized units of the Ministry of Defence and aviation companies.

The Deputy Minister of Defence urged companies and officials responsible for modernizing Air Force weapons and equipment to accelerate their efforts.

“We must do everything possible to enhance the technical condition of our aircraft, enabling our modernized fleet to fight more effectively in the skies,” said Anatolii Klochko.

According to him, the insights of active-duty military pilots must be prioritized in the aircraft modernization process.

“In this war, they often operate at the limits of their capabilities to accomplish combat missions. We must ensure that our professional pilots have everything they need,” said the Deputy Minister of Defence.

During the visit, Anatolii Klochko honored service members from an aviation brigade with departmental awards from the Ministry of Defence.

During the meeting, participants discussed cooperation with foreign partners to modernize Ukraine’s military aircraft and procure advanced equipment.

Special attention was given to another critical issue—ensuring conditions to safeguard airfield infrastructure.
