200 Ukrainian warriors freed from russian captivity

Two hundred Ukrainian service members were returned from russian captivity as part of the exchange.
Among those released are soldiers, sergeants, and officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including personnel of the Navy, the Ground Forces, the Territorial Defense Forces, the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Air Assault Forces, and the Air Force, as well as the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, and the State Special Transport Service of Ukraine.
The released service members defended Ukraine in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia sectors. Among those freed are defenders of Mariupol who had been held in russian captivity for nearly four years.
After returning home, all service members released from captivity will undergo a full medical examination, receive the necessary physical and psychological rehabilitation, and be granted all payments provided for by the state.
Today’s exchange is the result of agreements on the return of prisoners reached during trilateral talks in Geneva.
Ukraine expresses its gratitude to all partners, in particular the United States of America and President Donald Trump, for their assistance in securing the return of Ukrainian citizens from the territory of russia.
