With support from the MoD, the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute will train specialists in state quality assurance for the defense industry

The National Technical University ‘Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute’ (KPI) is launching a new educational program to train specialists in state quality assurance for enterprises involved in the defense industry. The educational program will be implemented in close collaboration with the Ministry of Defence.
This initiative is outlined in a memorandum signed between the Ministry of Defence and Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
The training of experts in this new specialty is intended to strengthen the development of a national system for state quality assurance of defense-related goods, works, and services.
Upon completion of the program, these specialists will establish quality management systems in accordance with NATO standards directly at defense industry enterprises where they will be employed. Additionally, they will ensure that defense enterprises comply with requirements for mutual quality assurance of goods, works, and services with partner countries.
A dedicated training program has been designed and approved to prepare future specialists. Using KPI’s laboratory facilities with modern equipment, real-world production conditions and quality assurance processes will be simulated to prepare specialists for practical tasks.
