‘Window for Weapons and Military Equipment Manufacturers’: Codification process streamlined

The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has upgraded its online service for weapons and military equipment manufacturers — the ‘Window for WME Manufacturers’. The platform’s functionality has been enhanced to better support companies preparing their products for codification.

“This online resource enables Ukrainian manufacturers of weapons to access step-by-step guidelines for preparing their products for codification. Standard templates of the required documents are also available for download. Specific guidelines are also provided for the codification of unmanned systems, electronic warfare (EW) systems, and ammunition,” said Deputy Minister of Defence Valerii Churkin.

Manufacturers may apply for the codification of new weapon models directly through the online portal at https://mil-tech.mod.gov.ua/  

To do this, they need to:

Click the ‘Submit Application’ button;
Fill out the electronic form;
Attach the required documents.

Applicants will receive email notifications regarding the status of their application
