Ukraine continues to bravely confront russian aggression. The international community's support is critical.

Dmytro Klimenkov, Ukraine's Deputy Minister of Defense, made this statement during a meeting with Beatriz Argimón, the Vice President of Uruguay, President of the Senate, and members of parliament Rodrigo Gonya and Juan Martin Rodriguez.

"We are grateful to all the countries of the world, in particular Uruguay, for their support and solidarity during this trying time for Ukraine. This is extremely important for our struggle for sovereignty and territorial integrity," said the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine.

The meeting took place during the government delegation's working trip to Uruguay, led by Ukraine's First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Yulia Svyridenko.

The peace formula proposed by Ukraine’s President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, was also discussed during the meeting. The representatives of Ukraine noted that our country will be glad to see the leaders of Uruguay at the first Peace Summit, which will soon be held in Switzerland.
