Veterans can receive professional career counseling through the zbroya.gov.ua portal

The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine is launching an opportunity for veterans to receive professional career counseling, enabling people with combat experience to apply the skills gained during service and build a new stage of their careers in the defense industry.

“Veterans understand frontline realities and the solutions required by the Security and Defence Forces today. Their skills and experience are critical to the development of the defense industry and the production of modern armaments and military equipment. Career counseling is a tool that helps attract qualified professionals to a sector that now defines the country’s defense potential,” said Anna Gvozdiar, Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine.

 Veterans can receive individual consultations from specialists at Lobby X, who can assist with the following:

• identify personal strengths, areas of interest, and potential roles within the defense industry;
• carry out an individual assessment of experience and skills;
• prepare a résumé and tailor combat experience to meet employer needs;
• identify relevant vacancies among weapons manufacturers, technology teams, R&D organizations, and enterprises operating in the defense technology sector;
• define next steps in professional development, such as training, reskilling, or internships;
• prepare for job interviews;
• receive support during the job search process.
