Ukrainian defenders have neutralized over 260,000 enemy UAVs since the start of the year

Since the start of the year, Defence Forces units have neutralized more than 260,000 fixed-wing and multirotor UAVs. All target engagements have been verified in the DELTA combat system.
Target engagements recorded in the DELTA system by military personnel were verified by the Innovation Development Fund of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
The number of russian UAVs neutralized on the front lines demonstrates the decisive role of technologies in modern warfare. Effective counter-drone measures save the lives of Ukrainian military personnel and civilians.
Trends in the interception of russian UAVs
Since the start of the year, around 195,000 enemy fixed-wing UAVs and 66,000 multirotor UAVs have been destroyed.
The number of russian fixed-wing UAVs destroyed reached 40,438 in July, compared with 27,711 at the end of May.
An increase in the number of UAVs downed was also recorded in the multirotor segment: the number of verified target engagements increased from 14,071 at the end of June to 19,945 in July.
Scaling the most effective solutions for countering russian drones
All engagements against enemy UAVs are verified in the DELTA system, which serves as the digital core of modern battlefield command and control and is one of the technological solutions key to our advantage over the enemy.
This enables the specifics of each downing to be tracked and effective solutions to be scaled more rapidly.
The Ministry of Defence previously reported that the Defence Forces of Ukraine have struck more than 1 million enemy targets with drones since the beginning of the year. In particular, approximately 193,500 russian service members were killed or seriously wounded.
