Ukraine to receive new military aid packages following “Ramstein” meeting

Ukraine’s Minister of Defence, Rustem Umerov, summarized the results of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (Ramstein format) meeting, which was held for the first time under the chairmanship of the United Kingdom. 

The Minister expressed gratitude to UK Secretary of State for Defence John Healey for stepping up efforts and supporting the format.

Partner countries announced new military aid packages for Ukraine:
* Denmark – has completed the transfer of most of the announced F-16 fighter jets, with the remaining aircraft to be delivered shortly.  
* United Kingdom – will provide £150 million in aid, including thousands of drones, as well as dozens of tanks and armored vehicles.  
* Germany – plans to transfer approximately 100 IRIS-T guided missiles in the near future.  
* The Netherlands – will additionally supply 25 YRP tracked armored vehicles for medical evacuation.
* Czechia – will continue supplying ammunition under the ‘Czech Initiative,’ subject to appropriate funding.  
* Finland – is preparing a new military aid package, including investments in heavy armored vehicle production for Ukraine. 
* Iceland – will allocate €5.5 million for demining and defense industry support.  
* Lithuania – will continue investing in Ukraine’s defense industry. 
* Norway – announced €100 million for the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Coalition, €240 million for naval capabilities development, and €50 million for the Drone Coalition.
* Sweden – confirmed long-term support for Ukraine at a level of €2.3 billion per year, including €530 million for drones, ammunition, and technology, and €250 million to be allocated under the ‘Danish model.’

Ukraine’s Minister of Defence emphasized the importance of continued cooperation with allies to strengthen the country’s defense capabilities and develop Europe’s defense industry.  

“Ramstein will continue, and soon we, together with our allies, will announce the date and location of the next meeting. Despite all the enemy’s efforts, the world remains united with Ukraine,” concluded Rustem Umerov.
