Ukraine to receive demining systems from Slovakia
Ukraine will receive non-lethal equipment and machinery from Slovakia, including five Bozena demining systems.
The agreement on this matter was signed by the Minister of Defence of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the Slovak Republic, Robert Kaliňák.
According to the agreement, Slovakia will transfer to Ukraine, free of charge, engineering and construction equipment, including Bozena systems, transport vehicles, demining systems, and medical evacuation assets.
“During the meeting, I expressed gratitude to my Slovak counterpart for the assistance that saves Ukrainian lives. We feel Slovakia’s support on our path toward achieving a just and lasting peace,” said Denys Shmyhal.
He also thanked Slovakia for the aid packages already provided. The country is preparing its new, fifteenth aid package.
“We also discussed prospects for cooperation between Ukrainian and Slovak companies. I am grateful to the government and people of Slovakia for their support,” concluded the Minister of Defence of Ukraine.
