Ukraine stands ready to share its expertise in drone industry development with Australia

Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Sergiy Boyev outlined potential avenues for cooperation with the Australian delegation.

The Australian delegation, headed by Brigadier General Grant Chambers, Director General of Joint Force Development, arrived in Ukraine. The delegation also comprised a group of experts in unmanned systems and technologies.

Australian representatives expressed interest in Ukraine’s experience in developing and expanding the drone industry. They highlighted that their focus includes not only manufacturing the systems, but also their deployment and the training of personnel.

“We are grateful to Australia for its political and financial support, as well as for supplying weapons. For our part, we stand ready to share our expertise in developing the drone industry,” emphasized Sergiy Boyev, Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine.

The parties also discussed areas of cooperation in the security sector.
