Ukraine looks forward to deepening military-technical cooperation with Argentina – Dmytro Klimenkov

This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine during a meeting with the Minister of Defense of Argentina, Luis Petri.

“Ukraine looks forward to deepening military-technical cooperation with Argentina. I am confident that this will contribute to strengthening our defence capabilities and the exchange of cutting-edge technologies and knowledge,” – said Klimenkov.

Dmytro Klimenkov's meeting with the Argentine Defence Minister was part of a working visit to Argentina of a government delegation led by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economic Affairs Yulia Svyrydenko.

In addition, the Ukrainian delegation discussed opportunities for deepening defence cooperation with Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship of the Argentine Republic Diana Mondino.

“Our strategy includes the creation of joint defence facilities in order to localise production, as well as weapons procurement. These are the steps that will have a positive impact on Ukraine’s defence capabilities,” – said Dmytro Klimenkov

During the meeting, the parties also discussed Ukraine’s peace plan, previously presented by President Volodymyr Zelenskyi. Representatives of the Ukrainian delegation invited Argentina’s leaders to join The First Peace Summit as one of the leaders in implementing the UN Charter under the Peace Formula.
