Ukraine is set to receive new combat aircraft in 2025, as announced by Rustem Umerov during the Air Force Coalition meeting

Ukraine's Minister of Defence, Rustem Umerov, participated in the Air Force Coalition meeting in Brussels, held at the level of defence ministers from the Coalition’s member states.
He stated that in 2025, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be equipped with new, modern aircraft. Simultaneously, pilots are undergoing training to operate Western-made aircraft.
Rustem Umerov expressed gratitude to the Defence Ministers of the Netherlands, Ruben Brekelmans, and the Defence Ministers of Denmark, Troels Lund Poulsen, for their leadership in the Coalition and for organizing the meeting. He also expressed gratitude to all the countries participating in the initiative for their commitment to strengthening Ukraine's aviation.
“Special thanks to the Netherlands and France for the recent transfer of F-16s and Mirage-2000s,” Rustem Umerov emphasized.
The Minister of Defence of Ukraine emphasized that efforts to strengthen Ukraine's air defense are ongoing in close cooperation with partners.
