Ukraine intensifies its cooperation with Thales Belgium defense company

During his working visit to Brussels, Ukraine’s Defence Minister Rustem Umerov met with representatives of Thales Belgium, which has been providing crucial support to Ukraine since the onset of the full-scale invasion. 

The parties discussed solutions to counter russian drone attacks, including the provision of missiles for air defense systems. Particular attention was given to the prospects for localizing their production in Ukraine.

“It is important for us to maintain dialogue not only with the governments of partner countries but also with defense companies willing to help Ukraine strengthen its security,” Rustem Umerov emphasized. 

The Minister of Defence appreciated Thales Belgium’s steadfast stance and readiness to take concrete action.
