Ukraine and Starlink to roll out terminal authorization system

Ukraine and Starlink are working to implement a system that will permit only authorized satellite communication terminals to operate in Ukraine.

“Ukraine and Starlink have already taken the first steps that have delivered quick results in countering russian drones. The next step is the introduction of a system that will allow only authorized terminals to operate in Ukraine,” said Ukraine’s Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.

In the coming days, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine will publish detailed instructions for Ukrainian users on how to register Starlink terminals for verification. Unverified terminals will be disconnected.

The registration process will be straightforward, quick, and convenient for users. Detailed instructions will be published shortly.
