Ukraine and Japan strengthen cooperation within the IT Coalition
In Kyiv, Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Defence Minister of Ukraine, met with Matsuda Kuninori, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine, and his team.
The parties discussed further cooperation in the implementation of projects within the coalitions.
During the meeting, Kateryna Chernohorenko briefed the Japanese delegation on the digital transformation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. She also talked about the key projects, including Reserve+, Army+, the Drone Coalition, and the DELTA combat system, which was recently successfully evaluated based on NATO standards. She also revealed the upcoming features that the MoD intends to implement in Reserve+ and Army+ by the end of the year.
“I am thankful for Japan's role in the IT Coalition, they are a reliable partner of Ukraine. We have agreed to continue working together on existing projects and explore novel initiatives where our competencies and capacities could complement each other,” the Deputy Defence Minister of Ukraine summarized.
