The document outlines the execution of joint projects or separate national efforts designed to enhance the air defense capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The announcement came from Ukraine's Defence Minister following the meeting of G7 defense ministers in Italy.
“I’m sincerely grateful to Germany for this initiative and to all the participating countries for their strong contribution to Ukraine's security,” Rustem Umerov said.
The initiative to reinforce Ukraine’s air defense will see participation from Belgium, Norway, the Netherlands, and Denmark, in addition to Germany. These collaborative efforts will significantly bolster Ukraine's defense capabilities.
Rustem Umerov further stated that the agreement reaffirms the robust international support for countering aggression and safeguarding civilians.
