Ukraine and Finland strengthen cooperation in joint arms production

During his official visit to Helsinki, Ukraine’s Defence Minister Rustem Umerov met with representatives of leading Finnish defense and technology companies.
Key topics discussed at the meeting were joint ammunition production, the advancement of satellite communications, telecommunications, armored vehicles, and the strengthening of maritime security.
“Finland has valuable experience in creating effective defense solutions and is a leader in technological innovations. Our partnership opens new opportunities to equip the Ukrainian military with modern weapons and equipment,” emphasized Rustem Umerov.
The Minister of Defence thanked the Finnish companies for their willingness to collaborate and highlighted Ukraine's readiness to invest in enhancing production capacity to meet the equipment needs of the Armed Forces.
