Ukraine and Denmark discussed preparations for the Nordic-Baltic Eight meeting and the expansion of defense cooperation

Ukraine's Defence Minister Rustem Umerov held talks with Danish Defence Minister Troels Lund Poulsen in Copenhagen regarding preparations for the Nordic-Baltic Eight (NB8) meeting.
The Group, which includes Norway, Iceland, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia, is expected to make key decisions to strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities.
Additionally, the ministers discussed the urgent needs of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. Rustem Umerov highlighted the importance of collaborating on long-term strategic projects with partners.
“Denmark remains our steadfast partner, and I am grateful to the country, its people, and personally to Troels Lund Poulsen for the constructive dialogue and unwavering support for Ukraine,” emphasized Rustem Umerov.
