A new class of unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) is now available on the Brave1 Market platform: amphibious UGVs. The Brave1 defense innovation cluster has created a dedicated category for them, which already features the first three products.

The range will expand. Military units will later be able to order these systems under the ePoints program.

How amphibious UGVs are changing front-line logistics

Amphibious UGVs are a new class of robots that expands the capabilities of ground operations. Rivers, canals, and marshy areas can complicate or completely block routes to positions. As a result, delivering provisions and ammunition to the military can be difficult.

Amphibious ground drones are advanced logistics robots. They retain high cross-country mobility on land and switch to water mode within seconds, continuing their route where a conventional ground drone would have to stop.

To help such solutions reach the front faster, Brave1, together with the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, is systematically developing the market for amphibious systems.

Back in June 2026, Brave1 launched a dedicated “Amphibious UGVs” grant track. Thanks to constant feedback from the military, Ukrainian developers are refining their innovative solutions to meet frontline realities.

The technology’s effectiveness has already been proven on the battlefield. Recently, service members of the Alter Ego unit of the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade conducted the first-ever combat mission using an amphibious robot. The system covered an extremely challenging route of more than 40 km over land and water and successfully delivered provisions and ammunition to positions.

Detailed specifications of the new products are available in the relevant section of Brave1 Market, where orders can also be placed.

As previously reported, by mid-August, UGVs had performed more than 100,000 frontline missions in place of Ukrainian military personnel since the start of the year.
