UAH 7.7 billion allocated for fuel for the military: DOT has outlined procurement plans for Q2 2025

The Ministry of Defence continues its efforts to ensure the uninterrupted supply of critical resources to the military. In particular, the State Operator for Non-Lethal Acquisition (DOT), the procurement agency of the Ministry of Defence, has already planned the procurement of fuels and lubricants for the second quarter of 2025.

The estimated cost of fuel and lubricants procurement for the second quarter is approximately UAH 7.7 billion. We aim not only to supply the army with essential resources but also to establish an efficient and predictable supply system. It is crucial that all processes are conducted transparently. This reinforces market trust in public procurement in the defense sector,” emphasized Glib Kanevskyi, Director of the Defence Ministry's Procurement Policy Department.

Specifically, the procurement plan includes:

  • gear oils
  • motor oils
  • hydraulic oils
  • special fluids
  • lubricants
  • diesel fuel
  • gasoline of various grades
  • aviation fuel Jet

“The updated plan accounts for the defense sector's immediate needs and will ensure the uninterrupted supplies of critical resources to military units. Procurement transparency and efficiency remain top priorities for the DOT. All tenders will be published on the Prozorro platform in compliance with current legislation,” said Maryna Yeremieieva, Director of the Fuel and Lubricants Program at DOT.

Ukrainian and international suppliers are invited to participate in the tenders. Detailed information on participation requirements will be available on Prozorro, and the procurement plan can be accessed via the link on the DOT website.
