UAVs lead the way, DELTA remains a challenge: how service members train in the Army+ app

More than 100,000 service members have completed training through the Army+ app, with “UAV Fundamentals: An Introduction to Unmanned Systems” as the most popular course, with nearly 55,000 enrollments. 

The following most popular courses are “Information Resilience: Cybersecurity” (45,736 starts) and the course on the DELTA system (30,720 starts). 

At the same time, DELTA remains one of the most challenging courses in the app, with a completion rate of 31% of total attempts. Other courses identified as the most difficult in Army+ include “Fundamentals of Combat Planning” (35%) and “Financial Literacy” (37%). 

The Army+ app was developed by the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine in collaboration with the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s Center for Scaling Technological Solutions. 

Army+ offers 19 training courses covering tactics, combat planning, unmanned systems, cyber hygiene, communications, financial literacy, and other areas. The courses include training modules, interim assessments, final exams, and certificates confirming successful knowledge acquisition.
