During a working visit of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Minister of Defence of Ukraine Rustem Umerov to Ukrainian regions, the agreements were signed between the Defense Procurement Agency of the Ministry of Defence and domestic defense industry enterprises.

The total value of the new contracts amounts to nearly 5 billion UAH.

“This is extremely important for strengthening our country's defense capabilities. After all, we buy and support our own, contributing to the development of our economy and industry. I want to thank the President for supporting us in this,” said Defence Minister of Ukraine Rustem Umerov.

During the visit, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Rustem Umerov visited defense industry enterprises to see how they operate. The event was also attended by First Deputy Minister Lieutenant General Ivan Havryliuk and Deputy Minister Dmytro Klimenkov.

“We continue to invest in Ukrainian manufacturers, significantly strengthening our defense capabilities. The increasing production confirms the effectiveness of our joint work with the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine. This is our key priority," emphasized Dmytro Klimenkov.
